As a rule, to optimize and improve the operational properties of autonomous power plants - local power supply systems, within the electric power, for example 1 MW, it is necessary to install from 2 to 5 power units (1 MW = 1000 kW = 5 200 kW). The experience of using autonomous power plants - local power supply systems suggests that for the operation of all electrical equipment, for example, at a summer cottage, a power of 5 kilowatts is sufficient (the standard of electrical supply for one Moscow apartment in Soviet times). The owner of the cottage needs to purchase a home autonomous power plant with a capacity of 10 to 20 kilowatts. If there is a pool in the cottage, the capacity of the autonomous power plant is already 30-60 kilowatts.

Autonomous power plants - requirements for noise protection

When choosing an autonomous power plant - a local power supply system, it is necessary to take into account the conditions in which the installation for generating electricity will be operated. If the use of an autonomous power plant is expected in conditions where increased noise requirements are imposed, it is necessary to purchase a power plant in a protected container.
